Covid Positive 23 February 2022

6am kor having fever and vomitted. So did not send him to school. Woke up at 8am to bring him to the clinic. And since i am unwell having sore throat after coming back from office on Monday, i decided to see the doc together. I had swab test while he did not. 

Doc said the result will be uploaded in the afternoon as he was having alot of patients. Actually i did ART self test at home the last night so i wasnt quite worry as it was negative the last night. 

1.47pm, received an sms:

Dear SXXXX274G, your COVID test is POSITIVE.

Please self-isolate immediately for at least 72 hours. Further instructions will be given to you.

TraceTogether (TT) App Users: Please upload your data with PIN 965627.

TT Token Users: Carry the token with you. An officer may collect it at your place of isolation.

If you have been issued a Stay Home Notice and Testing Notice, or a Testing Notice under Section 45A IDA, all such notice(s)/order(s) are hereby revoked with immediate effect.

WHAT THE...?!?!?! I am positive?!??!?!

Before i left the clinic i saw its only one line on the ART kit!!! 

Self isolate!!! I inform papa right away. And closed my studyroom door and keep myself away from the kids. While papa busy trying to get someone to cover his 24hr shift duties tomorrow. Meanwhile he activated gugu to standby as he might bring the kids to her house as prevention. 

We discussed and decided best to keep them away during this infectious period. While i am still thinking is it an error from the clinic. 

Around 6pm after the kids nap, they did the self ART test, confirmed negative and packed their luggage and off they went to gugu hse. 

8pm papa came back with unagi rice for my dinner. 

I was feeling so body ache and sore throat and tiredness the entire day. Not sure is it because the medicine i took which will cause drowsiness. I even felt like sleeping when having my lunch. 

Rewind back, we had lunch tgt at the dining table because never did i thought that i will be positive. 

I did a self ART test again but it shows negative.

Fast forward, after dinner i went back to the studyroom. Lying on the bed feeling cold. Slept rather early and woke up at 6am the next day. Back to sleep again and woke up at 10.30am. 

Papa came back with porriage breakfast and mee fen. Then he headed out to hougang mall to buy 龟苓膏. While he is away, i quickly went to shower and catch an episode of a drama at mewatch. Ate a bowl of 龟苓膏，he said it was $8 each for the small size. I tasted it was ok and did not put any syrup. But he said it was so bitter and he added all the syrup.

Is my tastebuds affected already? Omg.

Did a self ART test again but its showing negative too...

Ding dong door bell sounded, papa asked did u buy 龟苓膏? I said.... ohhh it could be from my sis. She said she will be buying it for me but ydae out of stock. 

Papa then cooked green bean soup.

Dinner was salmon mentaiko rice from shengshiong coffeeshop. Not bad but expensive $10. 

Thats all for my day 1&2 of isolation. Tomorrow 3rd day if negative, i can go out already 😁 i feel its cfm negative thou...
