My painful crown tooth

I had this tooth pain for a few days and I thought it would go away by itself cuz maybe due to heaty? 

Saturday I decided to go see a dentist because last night whilst applying bonjela I bleed little. I could put my upper and lower teeth together bcuz the pressure will hurt it a little. I felt that it was a little shaky... but I thought it would be OK after the swollen gums subside. Nevertheless, I decided to see the dentist for his professional advice. 

Pondering to go on Tuesday [because I needa go back office on Monday to clear some work stuffs] or yesterday [Saturday]. Papa called the dentist and there is available slot at 4.30pm. Alright, go for it. Otherwise next Thursday going legoland and 5 June 2024 going Australia already. Don't wanna get worst when we are overseas. 

Total bill $196. Took xray to see how the tooth is. Dentist said needa pluck off or painkiller to buy time but the pain will still come back because from the xray the tooth is cracked. 

Before I came to the dentist, in my mind I know I think it is better to remove the tooth as it is not the first time I getting discomfort from the same tooth area. So when the dentist said he would recommend to remove it otherwise I can go to other dentist to get second opinion. 

Whilst i already have so many days of discomfort, I think just remove it. Solve once and for all. 

Next question to pond about. Needa do implant tooth to replace the missing big tooth at the right side? It will cost about 3.3k. Out of it 1.2k can be deducted from medisave. 

By the way, the dentist name is Dr brian lum. I read some reviews before coming back to this same dental clinic which I phobia at. 

To keep the story short, my last wisdom tooth was removed at this clinic and it was Dr Jade. A lady doc which I think she doesn't have enough strength to pull out my wisdom tooth because I was hurting and whole body trembling and it took forever to remove the wisdom tooth.

Back to the story. 

So I plucked out my 10 over years ago root canal crown tooth and it was broken. I highly suspect it may have cracked earlier but I managed to get over it a few times when it hurts. But probably this time it broke so it didn't get over it. The whole tooth plucking is so fast. I informed the doc my pain tolerance level is very low, so I think he inject the whole tube of麻药. I didn't feel any pain except hearing him said, your tooth broke. And he was asking if papa is feeling OK or he wants to go out and take a seat. Probably papa is fainting soon? 

The next moment he asked me to bite. In my heart I was thinking, huh bite? The teeth haven't come out, bite what thing? So actually, he already gotten the tooth out. That's why I smelt something smelly. I think the tooth decayed habit? The smell is like someone didn't brush teeth with a bad breathe. 

We were early into the clinic at about 4pm. The whole episode concluded at about say 4.30pm? Quite fast I could say. All my thumbs up for this Dr Brian. No doubts on the review on him. 

5pm the blood should stop, but I cana see blood still coming out from the 'hole' on the missing tooth. The blood only stopped at around 7.10pm. Oh, by the way, while travelling back to lavender to have dinner with the kids and in law. I felt a tingling pain at the tooth area already. But the numbness is still there. I dunno. I was afraid the pain will be worst if the whole numb goes off. I poped in the painkiller at 6pm together with the antibiotics. Felt better after that. 

Brought back the unfinished dinner [wings and eggs] but I don't think u can eat. In the end throwing it away. 

So now, Sept 2024 wanna do implant? Haiz  I really dunno. I am worried that 10yrs down the road this whole scenario comes back again. Then I have to remove the entire thing again. But if never do the implant, it will create more pressure for the rest of the teeth and eventually the other real teeth will have problem. 

Please tell me what to do....
