20 September 2024, bought Vezel G at $115,000

So today 11am we went back to test drive the red vezel from Jason. He was quite pushy as he kept wanting us to make a decision as it he needs to get the car spray paint soon. Finally we managed to shake him off and proceed with our next appointment. 

12pm at ubi oxley. It was a pearly white vezel and the previous owner was a ang moh pilot according to the salesman. He seldom drives so the mileage was only abt 14k. We were abit skeptical about this as it seems they were hiding something from us. Although they are able to throw in free rear air-conditioning, but the price counts out to be 1.2k per monthly installment which is quite tight for us. We were looking at about around 1k per month installment. I can fork out 25k cash for down-payment which means my ocbc and uob bank savings will be swept out. 

12.45pm we went for the other sunlight white vezel test drive viewing. He was the director of the company. So I believe he can make many decisions. He finally gave his best price at $115,000 and trade in value at 20k. With my 25k savings over the years and the trade in value after deducting the 7k loan, we should be paying ard $1,088 per month for the installment which I think is comfortable for papa. I was thinking to put in more deposit to lower the monthly installment but 2k difference is only $20 less per month and not significant. 

I personally like the last viewing because it comes with warranty and also 2 free servicing. Which means even if the dealer closed down, I no need to worry. And also there is this auto sensing boot using feet to open the boot and also side mirror auto closing when u lock the car. The red seats in the car makes it looks like some Porsche which is so luxury. The car is clean and the leather was still in super good condition. I saw that the owner was staying at 28 Chuan View, looks like bungalow to me. So should be some rich people trying to upgrade to better cars. 

In the end, we closed the deal with him. We will be sending it for STA inspection for any accident reports and he said the soonest to collect the car will be next week. Which I think is pretty fast. But papa is having audit next week so I think we will collect it over the weekend. That is super fast. Which means next week I can sit the fake rolls Royce porsche car already. OMG! I am so looking forward, seriously! I think this is my biggest ticket item in my life. My savings are all worth it!
